How to claim flight delay compensation for an Air Astana flight?

Have you already complained to Air Astana?

To be eligible to make a flight delay complaint against Air Astana using AviationADR, you must have already complained to Air Astana directly in writing and either received a final written response (sometimes referred to as a ‘deadlock letter’) or given Air Astana eight (8) weeks to respond to your flight delay compensation dispute.

After having given Air Astana 8 weeks to respond, you’re eligible to escalate your complaint with AviationADR if they’ve left you unsatisfied!

PLEASE NOTE: AviationADR can only deal with unresolved complaints.

The airline sector covers complaints against any Air Astana flight where the flight in question arrived or departed (or was due to arrive/depart) from a UK airport.

However, here is a quick fly-by summary of how you can resolve your Air Astana complaint with our AviationADR Alternative Dispute Resolution scheme!

The Air Astana ADR Process

  1. You complain to Air Astana directly in writing and give them 8 weeks to respond
  2. If you were left unsatisfied with Air Astana’s response, and want to push for a resolution (such as compensation), you fill out the AviationADR Complaint Form
    This can be done Online, by Post, or by giving us a call! See AviationADR’s contact details HERE

  3. After you’ve filled out and submitted the form to AviationADR, Air Astana will be given 30 days to reply to your complaint: they can either settle, or challenge it

  4. AviationADR establishes a Complete Complaint File, and a specialist Adjudicator reaches a decision on your case within 90 days of this date
